Garlic Cheese Toast

Garlic Cheese Toast

What’s not to love? A mixture of butter and garlic slathered on slices of baguette topped with mozzarella and parmesan then broiled until bubbly and golden brown. These little beauties are perfect as a snack (my kids love them after school), soup dippers, or to soak up pasta sauce. YUM! I served these garlic cheese toasts recently with a big pot of soup for dinner and they paired perfectly. As always, these garlic cheese toasts were a big hit with the whole family.

Mix together the softened butter and minced garlic until well combined. Slather some garlic butter on one side of each baguette slice.

Top the baguette slices with shredded mozzarella and finely grated parmesan cheese, to taste. Place the toasts on a baking sheet.

Garlic Cheese Toast

Place under the broiler (watch it carefully!) for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the edges of the toast are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
