Favorite Fall Comfort Foods

I’ve gathered together some of our favorite fall comfort foods because I yearn for tasty home-cooked meals this time of year. Some recipes quick and easy but still comforting like gnocchi al telefono and other recipes take hours like slow-simmered Irish beef and Guinness stew but it’s totally worth the wait.

I’m heading to Idaho to help prepare my mother for a big move from the house she and my father have lived in for the past 20 years. It’s going to be an emotional weekend for all of us which makes me crave comfort food even more! I’ll be back next week with more recipes and round-ups. In the meantime, I hope these recipes will keep you busy.

  1. They look truly comforting and tasty, Pam. Thanks for taking time to do the roundup!

  2. Another great roundup and I like the shot of stew and mashed potatoes in a bowl – never thought of serving them that way. Now I’m off to look at several of them in detail.
