Baked Cinnamon-Sugar Pear Chips

Baked Cinnamon-Sugar Pear Chips

Apple chips are a favorite snack of mine so I figured I would love other fruits made into baked chips. I decided to try making some baked cinnamon-sugar pear chips since I had a few pears on the kitchen counter that none of us were eating. I used my mandolin to cut them nice and thin then I made sprinkled the tops with a cinnamon-sugar mixture and baked them at a low temperature until they were dried and crisp. These baked pear chips are amazing! I loved the little bit of sweetness/spice and the nice crisp crunch. We all thought these chips were delicious and enjoyed them before dinner where the bowlful disappeared quickly.

  1. i love apple chips too but i’ve never tried the method with pears. brilliant!

  2. Remy is obsessed with dehydrated fruit lately (we call them cookies lol) so I’m going to have to try these out as a healthy snack for her!

  3. Mary Reynolds says:

How long do they last, do I just put them in a bag, and leave them on the counter.

    1. Mary,

My kids devour them in one sitting so I’ve never tried storing them. I would assume they would do best stored in an airtight container.
